Our family-owned business began in Leominster, when a simple chalkboard sign we created for a family celebration blossomed into something much bigger. The inspiration for our company name, "Plata," comes from our daughter's beloved stuffed purple platypus - just like Plata, our unique chalkboard kits are waterproof and unique!
