Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate Día de los Muertos through the art of storytelling. Por siempre en mi corazón: A Dia De Los Muertos storytelling is a family-friendly event where the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos come to life through captivating stories that honor our ancestors, explore the mysteries of the afterlife, and connect us with the spirits of those who have passed.
Event Highlights:
Storytelling Circles: Experience traditional and contemporary tales that explore the themes of life, death, and the afterlife. Local storytellers, community elders, and special guests will share stories that have been passed down through generations, as well as new narratives that resonate with the spirit of Día de los Muertos.
Interactive Story Stations: Participants can create their own stories by contributing memories of loved ones or crafting tales inspired by the imagery of Día de los Muertos. These stories will be shared at various stations throughout the venue, allowing for an interactive and immersive experience.
Cuentos del Corazón (Stories from the Heart): A special segment where attendees are invited to share personal stories about their ancestors, offering a moment of reflection and connection.
Loteria Cards on display: As part of the event, we will feature a display of Lotería cards created by our community. This exhibit will serve as a serene space for reflection, where the stories shared throughout the evening weave together into a beautiful tapestry of remembrance.
