Join us as we welcome local author Sara Allen and find out about her book "At the Core: Examining the Parallels Between Christianity and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion."
"At the Core takes an in-depth look at the parallels between Christianity and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Combining simple definitions with biblical evidence, At the Core takes the noise of politics, media, and more out of the equation. Unlike other Christian books, this one doesn’t tell readers what to believe but equips them with the truth and provides the opportunity and space to decide what they believe for themselves. At the Core’s primary target audience is the Christian community, however, the book creates intentional space for non-believers as well. This allows for a larger target audience and two distinct goals: for Christians to understand DEI and for non-believers to understand God.
This book is unlike any other on the market. It is a digestible comparison of what our world believes to be polar opposites. At the Core is designed to meet readers where they are, whether they know the Bible or not, and take them on a journey of exploration, examination, and reflection."
