In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, join us for a meet and greet with local author Hope Andersen as she signs copies of her memoir, a self help book titled "How to Remodel a Life: A Guide to Living Well with Alcoholism and Bipolar Disorder."Hope Andersen is a poet, novelist, memoirist, and screenwriter. Her poetry has appeared in The Awakenings Review, Indolent, Ink&Nebula, The Pangolin Review and The Literary Yard, among others. She has published two chapbooks, Taking in Air (Kelsay Books 2018) and Postcards from a Loving God (Pipevine Press 2022). Her published novels include The Book Sisters (2017), When the Moon Winks (2019), and Where the Wind Blows (2022) Her memoir How to Remodel a Life was released in 2020. For the past four years, Ms. Andersen has written a quarterly column for Mooresville Lakeside Living magazine. She is also an assistant editor for the award-winning Awakenings Review. She lives in North Carolina.
