🧶 Afternoon Workshop – Felt a Poppy Keepsake
Join Rebecca from Jack & Alice Crafts for a mindful, hands-on needle-felting session inspired by the beauty and symbolism of the poppy.
In this calm and creative afternoon, you’ll learn how to needle-felt natural wool fibres into a meaningful poppy-themed keepsake. Choose to create a wearable pin, a framed felted picture, or a simple handcrafted tribute to honour remembrance.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced crafter, Rebecca will guide you step-by-step through the process, helping you create something truly personal and full of heart.
All materials and tools are provided — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to create. ❤️
🌿 About Hughenden & The National Trust
This reflective workshop takes place within the stunning grounds of the National Trust’s Hughenden Estate — a historic house and gardens nestled in the Chiltern Hills.
Once the home of Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, Hughenden later played a fascinating secret role during WWII as a map-making base for RAF pilots. Today, its rich heritage and peaceful countryside setting make it a truly special place for creativity, reflection, and connection.
The National Trust cares for Hughenden to preserve its stories, gardens, and landscape for future generations — and it provides a truly inspiring backdrop for this heartfelt creative experience. 🌺
☕ Before Your Workshop
We recommend arriving early to enjoy a delicious lunch or warm drink from the Hughenden Café (not included in the ticket).
