This October, Poppy Fields, a light show created by Luxmuralis, will return to St Albans Cathedral for the first time since 2018.Poppy Fields will be a poignant and moving sound and light show that will take you on an immersive journey through fine art sound and light installations which transform the Cathedral spaces creating a walking curated experience.
The 2025 show incorporates a collection of fine art projection artworks that reflect on the end of World War One and World War Two, but more importantly look at the hopes and wishes for peace in our world and the future.
Timings:
Time slots are available every 15 minutes. Please note that you will need to enter during your ticketed time slot.
5.45pm: SEND slots on all dates except for Tuesday 28 October
6pm - 6.45pm: Family Viewing
7pm - 8pm: Evening Lates
The Cathedral is fully accessible, but for quieter viewings, please book the 5.45pm slot.
