About this Event
October 16th marks World Food Day! Join local Popeyes Field Leadership at Laredo Regional Food Bank's 42nd Annual Bean and Rice Hunger Luncheon. You'll join fellow Popeyes representatives, Laredo community leaders, and members of the Laredo community for a luncheon that brings awareness of food security needs in Laredo.
This is a different event than a meal packing event at their Food Bank. Instead, our volunteers will help feed lunch to attendees and participate in the luncheon as an attendee. Team Popeyes has up to 15 spots available. 12 designated for Javier De Anda and his team, along with up to five for Popeyes Field Leadership.
Historically, this event has brought in local news. There wil be an opportunity to present and oversized check / photo opportunity to celebrate our $10,000 Food Love Grant to the Laredo Regional Food Bank.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE RSVP AT "RESERVE A SPOT." YOU DO NOT NEED A TICKET FOR THIS EVENT. WE ARE USING THIS TOOL TO MANAGE RSVPS AND EVENT INFORMATION.
Attire:
- The Popeyes Foundation will provide t-shirts. An assortment of sizes will be available to suit the group's needs. Since this is a luncheon, you may also choose to wear a blazer over the t-shirt or Popeyes branded attire.
- Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required.
