About this Event
We are gathering at Aliso Beach at 6:30 pm for a sunset Silent Disco dance party. Bring layers because it will get chilly. Feel free to bring food or beverages for before and after. Dancing starts at 7:00 pm. There will be two channels on your headphones with separate playlists to choose from. $10 suggested donation.
Meet up with us just before sunset to move our bodies and allow ourselves to get a little spiralic and primal (since life is soooo linear and domesticated). We wear headphones and there will be two playlists to choose from and we all just collectively and independently dance and move energy! Dancing is a great way to play with our body and to express things that may have been pent up in our soma (our body) for ages. Stomping and shaking the hips can be a way to loosen things up and FEEL more grounded in your body, getting light on your toes and twirling can help you feel light and airy and easy at heart. However you move, no way is the wrong way, just let yourself free!

This is a co-ed event, everyone is invited!
Here is what to expect for the day of the event:
?Arrive between 6:30 pm and 6:45 pm to claim your pair of headphones for the evening. (You can arrive anytime you want but if you want to guarantee you receive a pair of headphones, if it looks like we are a full capacity from the RSVPs on this event page (only 20 headphones total), then we recommend you arrive early. Or you can also send us $10 to guarantee your headphones are reserved for you when you arrive.).
?To rent a pair of headphones for the evening we are asking for a $10 donation. You can reserve a pair early by sending your $10 in through Venmo (@AmandaTisdel), CashApp ($AmandaTisdel) or PayPal ([email protected]). Please include a note that this payment is for the Silent Disco so I am aware and can put your name on our check-in list. The last four digits of the phone number are 1629 if asked for a confirmation.
?We are expecting this event to be FULL! If you send your donation early to claim a pair of headphones, please arrive before 6:00 pm or you will forfeit your part to the next person in line.
?Check in with a valid ID, we will hold your ID until the headphones are returned at the end of the evening.
?One channel will be Progressive House + Techno and the other channel will be more Primal/Tribal music.
?Feel free to bring snacks and layers in case it gets cold after the sun sets.
?Feel free to wear something flowy that catches in the wind, or wear something super comfy so you can roll around in the sand, just make it fun and maybe something you always wanna wear but never get the chance to wear.
?When you pull into Aliso Creek Beach, we will be all the way to the left (if you’re facing the ocean) past the Lost Pier Cafe. We will have a RED folding table.
