If you want to get more serious with coffee as a home brewer, this class is perfect for you. Take the first step with us this Sunday, inside the local Fort Greene coffee shop KC14, and walk away with more coffee knowledge under your belt and new coffees and optional equipment to bring home.
In 2 hours, learn to tap into your senses and discover the perfect coffee for you. Harness the pour-over method to mindfully and consistently brew a better-tasting cup of joe every morning.

What is the pour-over method?
It is a method of manual brewing using minimal equipment that ensures full saturation of your coffee grounds for even extraction and a rich, balanced brew.
What can I expect from the workshop?
- Learn the background of coffee and key terminology and concepts
- Use your senses to taste, smell, and assess different coffees
- Learn to use your pour-over coffee equipment and extraction techniques
- Interactive and hands-on activities
- Receive a coffee sampler kit from KC14
- Option to bring home your very own set of pour-over equipment

- 4 bags of personal-sized coffee to bring home
