Experience the joy and many well-being benefits of singing together in our vibrant POP- UP Pop Rock choir. We'd love you to join us!

Absolutely everyone, regardless of singing level or ability, is warmly welcomed into our fun, supportive, and inclusive choirs and group singing workshops. Together, we'll delve into a diverse selection of pop, rock, and world music songs, exploring simple group harmonies and honing vocal technique (think breath control, pitch, projection, and tone). No need to read sheet music, no pressure for solo performances—everything is taught by ear. The only prerequisite? A love for music and a desire to sing alongside others.

In recent sessions, we've sung songs spanning from the 1960s to today, featuring hits by ABBA, Elton John, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Simon and Garfunkel, Adele, The Clash, The Beatles, Rag 'n' Bone Man, The Cranberries, David Bowie, Imagine Dragons, and many more!

Singing truly is for everyone, and we firmly believe that every voice matters. Beginners are not only welcome but encouraged! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or want to chat beforehand.

We believe that everyone has a voice and everyone can sing. Whether you are a complete beginner wanting to 'find your voice' or a more experienced singer looking to develop your technique and performance, we welcome all abilities with open arms. Singing from the heart is at the core of what we do, and we are committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment for all our singers.

About Peter:

Hello, I’m Peter! My musical journey began in the 1970s as the frontman of a punk band, and I’ve been a professional musician ever since. I studied vocal coaching in London with the renowned singing teacher Tona de Brett. With over 30 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working as a vocal coach, singing teacher, group facilitator, and musical director with everyone from chart stars and professional musicians to musical theatre students, complete beginners, and even those who believe they are 'tone deaf.'

I specialize in helping people overcome emotional blocks and negative inner voices, enabling them to sing fully and authentically. My approach is sensitive and supportive, aiming to help individuals find and trust their voice both physically and emotionally.

I'm dedicated to helping my students expand and develop their skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

In addition to my work with singing, I also teach meditation and studied spiritual development, ministry, and counselling with the OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation in London. I was ordained as an interfaith minister in 2004 and am currently studying for my Yoga Alliance accredited 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.
