About this Event

Welcome to our **Pop-Up Exhibit & Dinner w/ Borders Cruzadas** event! Join us on Thu Feb 06 2025 at 5:30 PM at Immigrant Food at The White House for an evening filled with art, culture, and delicious food.

Experience a unique blend of creativity and cuisine as we showcase the work of talented photographers Oscar B. Castillo and Will Sands. Check out the Borders Cruzadas pop-up exhibit exploring the lived experience of human displacement.

Borders Cruzadas leverages the universal power of photography and storytelling to foster a more inclusive and empathetic public discourse on immigration. By engaging and amplifying the experiences of those directly affected, Borders Cruzadas aspires to create a tool for understanding and, ultimately, impact local policy decisions surrounding immigration.

After immersing yourself in the art, indulge in a delectable family style dinner inspired by flavors from around the globe. A entry ticket comes with beer/wine and shareable platters of food. Over dinner, Oscar and Will will share the history of Borders Cruzadas and lay out their map for community partnerships and engagements for their next chapter in our nation's capital.

Come together with fellow art enthusiasts and food lovers for a memorable evening that celebrates diversity, creativity, and community. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience!
