Bird Nerding 101: Let's get outside and nerd those birds!
Do you like lookin' at birds? Then you're a birder! Do you know where to find birds? At the Palm Beach County Natural Areas!
Join our partners REI Boca Raton, Audubon Everglades and their Education/Outreach Coordinator Autumn Kioti Horne as she spreads the bird nerd word: NATURE IS FOR EVERYBODY AND EVERY BODY.
This fun presentation at REÍ Boca Raton on Sept. 27th is the first step toward becoming a real bird nerd. If you've never birded before but are birding-curious, this is your moment! If you are a more advanced birder and you'd like to discover bird-minded friends, join us. We'll learn about birds, when and how to see 'em...
And then, on Saturday Sept. 28, you can join Autumn at Pondhawk Natural Area for some almost immediate bird nerd satisfaction! Bring your own binoculars, or borrow some of ours, and practice your new-found nerding skills.
You'll also learn about Audubon Everglades' awesome free programs and fieldtrips for individuals of all shapes, sizes, abilities and identities
Follow Audubon Everglades on IG at @auduboneverglades and Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management @pbcerm.
You are welcome here!
