Looking for a way to take your playing to the next level while making music with others? Join our Pop, Rock & Country Band at the School of Musical Traditions!This group class is open to musicians of all ages who can play a song from start to finish. Whether you’re a high school student looking for a creative outlet or an adult wanting to reconnect with music, this band is for you!
Each week, participants will submit a list of their favorite songs they'd like to potentially play with the band. The instructor will select one song to focus on during each session. In class, we will explore the role of each instrument and how to enhance group dynamics and performance as a whole. This class provides a great opportunity to meet new friends while growing as a musician in a fun, collaborative environment.
Details:
Schedule: Every other Monday, 8 to 9 PM ( 4/7, 4/21, 5/5, 5/19, 6/2, and 6/16)
Location: School of Musical Traditions
Open to: All ages (must be able to play a song from start to finish)
At the end of the class, participants will be invited to perform as a group at the Tuesday open mic at the School of Musical Traditions.
