If you ever dreamt of going to pony club camp as a child but never got the opportunity or sent your kids off to their camps with a twinge of envy, guess what? NOW IT'S YOUR TURN! People come back year in year out. I've seen them start without a jump in their pony and now they're off having amazing adventures all over the place!
Our philosophy is that no one is perfect and that everyone is trying the very best they can to improve themselves and their horses.
Come to camp and meet people like you, who put the horse first and the sport second :)

All levels welcome, we have groups for everyone.
Want to just get your confidence? Join the baby groups, mostly flatwork & polework, building up to tiny jumps, you can hack round the XC course, no pressure and it is a great place to start.
Or maybe you want to improve your jumping or get ahead of the competition by practicing the over the cross country jumps?
Maybe your dream is to jump at BE level one day DO IT!! We'll help you prepare and when you're ready to go higher we will be with you all the way!
About ECSW:
We're now in our tenth year!! We've had over 1000 people come to our camps. No matter what level you ride at, everyone should have that chance to come to pony camp for adults!
From the start, a very strict policy was laid down. No judgement allowed. No talking about people or their horses. No comments made at the side of the ring. Everyone is encouraged to support each other.

The camp is fully catered, no cake required, all laid on for you! Just think no washing up or cooking!
We arrive Friday Evening, settle the horses, pitch the tent, then share Pizza and catch up with friends. THEN we have two more days of fun :) 3 hours of tuition a day with very experienced instructors who have been very carefully selected for you.
All Food provided for you, haylage and straw provided for the horses.
Accommodation is in shared bunk houses or you can upgrade to a lodge with twin beds and a bathroom for and extra 25pppn. Free hot showers and toilets on site for cabin accommodation.

Camp Info
Cost to include stabling, haylage and straw for the horse. If your horse needs shaving or hay please let us know but you will need to provide your own.
Approximately 6 hours of instruction over the two days.
All meals provided and will be taken in the Cafeteria. Anyone with any food allergies or wishing to have a vegetarian/vegan option MUST let us know at time of booking. A surcharge of £10.00 will be added to the cost to provide this service
Alcohol Please supply your own if you if you are over 18. Under 18 may not drink and anyone supplying anyone under age with drink will be asked to leave & will not receive a refund. Any adult who behaves irresponsibly and inconsiderately towards others will also be asked to leave and not be refunded.
KIT LIST
Clothing Please bring your riding clothes and spares for the evening and in the event of the weather being undesirable. You MUST wear a hat of the current standard and a body protector when jumping. Boots must have a small sturdy heel and no heel. You will not be allowed to ride in Wellingtons.
Horses They need to be fit so make sure you've been exercising them regularly before they come to avoid injuries. We suggest you introduce some hard feed to his daily routine as he gets fitter, just as a thank you so that when he's at camp he can have a feed at the same time as the others. Carrots, apples and chaff will suffice for the laminitics / tubbies. But bring them something. He will need enough for 4 feeds.
Please bring his usual tack plus spare numnahs and girths, a spare stirrup leather and a pair of spare reins, his head collar and lead rope and a cooling rug. Your horse may come in wet from working very hard and will be uncomfortable if you leave him standing in the stable without a rug as he cools off.
Haylage can be fed from NETS ONLY. You also need 2 water buckets, feed buckets and a grooming kit. If you have room please bring wheelbarrows and mucking out equipment or arrange to share. There are none at Pontispool.
All stables are allocated, please don't swap and change. They must be left clean with the remaining straw banked up at the rear of the stable. Anyone who leaves their stable dirty will be asked to pay £20.00.
The weekend is about exploring what you and your horse can do, no one is under pressure to do anything. We just want you to spend quality time with your horses, learn what you can and have a good time!

This is such a great opportunity for us and potentially the only chance we'll get, let's show them that whether we're happy hackers or aspiring to event that we're grateful for the chance to use such an incredible venue. If you thought Bicton was good, this place is BETTER!
