On Sunday 8/31 at 7:30 am, Ponte Vedra Ruck Club is hosting a special event to commemorate NATIONAL POLICE K9 DAY. Bring your dog!This will happen at our normal location. Club members and their dogs will walk a one mile loop. This will repeat every 30 minutes for 5 miles.
Members are highly encouraged to bring kids and dogs. You can walk as much or as little as you want. You can also begin at any time you wish.
Treats and refreshments for humans and pups will be available at Ruck Club Field throughout the morning.
We are encouraging (but not requiring) participants to make a $40 donation to K9s United, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to supporting working law enforcement K9s who detect, protect, and serve our communities by providing them with the best equipment and training during their service and memorializing those who make the ultimate sacrifice.
Donors will receive a commemorative patch and t-shirt from GORUCK that you will cherish forever. See link below.
Everyone who shows proof of purchase of shirt and patch will receive a raffle ticket for GORUCK gear with the winner to be announced at our event.
Stay for one mile, all miles or any combination in between. Even if you don’t donate or don’t have a dog, please join us!
