Join us for a fun and informative event where you'll learn how to create the perfect ponytail with the talented Rachel Rizzo! Rachel will demonstrate her tips and tricks to help you achieve the ponies of your clients' dreams. Bring a friend and get ready to elevate your upstyling game!

Learn how to create two different versions of one of the most requested styles for formal events: THE PONY!

In PART ONE, Rachel will demo two looks.

• a mid-height volume pony with tousled detailing and lofted face-framing, ideal for brides and party members alike.
• a clean, high Party Pony, perfect for bachelorettes, reception style switches and bridesmaids!

Along with these two finished styles, you will also learn Rachel’s foolproof prep tips for use on all formal styles, not just ponies! While often overlooked, prep work is the most important part of building any formal style. Rachel’s prep protocol ensures the most polished finishes, as well as the interior structure needed for all styles to truly hold both shape and volume, from that first mimosa sip all the way until the late night taco bar.

In PART TWO (optional limited attendance add-on), you will choose one of the two looks created during the demo to re-create on your model. This is where the knowledge really takes hold!

Rachel will personally assist each student with proper technique, attention to detail, and problem solving while they work on live models. Hands-On students will gain a fuller understanding of the techniques seen in Part One. Immediately practicing new technical skills, while also being able to troubleshoot difficulties in-person with the instructor, allows for quicker mastery and more thorough comprehension of the skills shown during the demo portion.

In an attempt to give all Hands-On students as much individualized attention possible, tickets for PART TWO are very limited.

Info: Check-in for class, grab a snack or a beverage, and find a seat while chatting with other professionals in the WNY wedding beauty circuit

Info: Demo begins with prep and styling for mid-height volume pony as well as a clean, high Party Pony

Info: 15 - 30 minute break. Light snacks and beverage provided, however students are also welcome to bring their own as well. Classroom reset. Model arrival for students staying for hands-on portion. Models should arrive by 5:20pm with 100% dry hair that has been washed within 36 hours prior to the event.

Info: Students will re-create one of the two looks demonstrated in Part One on their model while receiving feedback and personalized assistance from Rachel
