Would you like to learn more about enhancing your yard with well-maintained water features, ponds, lakes and lakefronts? Julie Salsido, Edelweiss Member has been a Pond Tech and Coach for "The Pond Guy" a family-owned Michigan business for six years educating customers across the United States. In a PowerPoint presentation, you will learn about a wide range of related topics including fish, aquatic plants, and weeds as well as pond construction, supplies and mechanics. Natural and effective methods will be discussed to maintain clean water for purposes like swimming, fishing, agriculture, irrigation and water retention. Bring your questions! There will be a "Meet and Greet" from 4:30-5:30 p.m. with coffee and hors d'oeuvres. The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Upstairs Meeting Room at the Library.
