It’s all about having fun with nature during Spring Break at your Main Library, and if you participated in the Frog Pond Sensory Table (also running throughout this day) you’ll definitely want to check out the Pond Water Observation Station. Guests will use a microscope, empty slides, and a pipette to examine water from local ponds/creeks. This station will be available throughout the day with a public white board for patrons to note their observations. You’ll be able to document the size, shape, and any interesting behaviors from any microorganisms you’re able to spot. Plus, additional resources on pond life and identification cards for common microorganisms that live in pond water will be available.
