New for 2024 - Come and get wet and wild as we discover what lurks beneath!About this Event
Join us at A Patch Wilder for as we explore the hidden world beneath the surface of the pond.
We dug our ponds three years ago and they have now been colonised by a host of bugs, snails, frogs and newts and more. We will use pond-dipping nets and observation trays along with field guides to catch and ID some of the creepy crawlies that have moved in over the last few years.
- The event will run between 10am - midday, please drop in anytime.
- Suitable for approx. ages 3 - 12
- All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult
- Please wear sensible footwear and dress for the weather
- Clearly there will be deep water next to us
- Sorry - no dogs
- Free of charge! But places are limited so please book tickets and let us know if you can't make it.
