Why not borrow a pond-dipping kit to see what beautiful and strange creatures live below the water? Come along to learn about the underwater world with our knowledgeable volunteers to guide you.A hidden world of bugs and beasties is just waiting to be admired- you should find everything from snails to dragon fly nymphs, diving beetles to phantom midge larvae! Pond-dipping is loved by everyone- so both families and adults of any age are welcome to book on to our guided sessions. Places are limited and pond-dipping is very popular so please book promptly to avoid disappointment.
Please do not bring your own nets or equipment as this poses a contamination risk with organisms from other water bodies, and it is good practice to keep kits separate.
