About this Event
We invite you to join us at the Paddock for our monthly weekend event. We will be doing a pond dip to see what creatures live in there! You will also have the chance to spot butterflies and learn how to identify them.
What to expect:
- A guided pond dip
- A guided insect bioblitz
- Help with identifying species
-The data collected will help us develop the Paddock into a Local Nature Reserve.
- By booking onto multiple sessions you’ll gain a deeper understanding of seasonal cycles, and improve your I.D. skills.
Pre-booking is essential, book now to confirm a place.
Please be aware Eventbrite booking closes one day before the event at 5pm.

What to bring:
W e have ID guides and equipment for pond dipping.
P lease bring along any guides you would like
Please be sure to check the weather/temperature and dress accordingly.
COVID-Safe Measures:
Whilst social distancing and COVID-safe measures are no longer legally required, you are welcome to wear a mask if you would like to. Please consider others' wishes who may still want to social distance, and always wash hands before eating/drinking on TCV projects.
Under 18s:
All ages can join in the activity, the route is a little muddy but buggies are welcome!
If you want to volunteer and are 16-17 years old please ensure you get in touch with us at [email protected], as you will need a completed parent/ guardian consent form to join in. For everyone aged 15 and under they will also need a parent/guardian with them to attend.

We will meet at the Paddock main entrance next to the 2x green office buildings on Ferry Lane, N17 9NG.
