About this Event
A trio of migrant Persian musicians, Gomaan was formed with a focus on experimenting with the content and delivery of classical Persian Music.
Since its formation, the highly-active ensemble has produced 3 live recorded visual albums as well as a number of single records featuring multiple guest artists from Vancouver and beyond. The Trio has been featured on major networks such as BBC Persian. The material performed by the trio, whilst based on fundamental aesthetics of Persian music, aims to reflect the post-migration experiences of its members as well.
