Osky and Kris are starting a once a month GUIDED practica! A place to explore, ask questions, and build your creative muscles. We take our play very seriously. :) THE FORMAT OF THE PRACTICA: 🤘🏼🪄🕺🏻
You are free to ask for advice, work in partnership or in groups, stop, interrupt, focus on a movement, inspire each other for some step or movement. Everyone can be a teacher or learner in the room!
During the practica, Osky and Kris will offer an idea to the group: a musicality game, a combination, a theoretical idea, that puts focus to your practice and asks you to step out of patterned behaviour.
WHY? 🪗🌈✨
We practice often, and inside of our sessions we let creativity guide us to new movements that would never have the chance to develop if we only danced socially or in a classroom setting. We both participate in this investigation equally-because building our dance is a shared responsibility. Our tango was built on these practice-like environments in our younger years, and we believe a key piece in the dancer’s growth journey is developing your own creative explorations- that ownerships allows you to grow exponentially!

Everyone. Duh. :) We have plenty to offer in terms of wild, uncommon, and extreme ideas, as well as practical, systematic approaches. You choose what area you want to work on. :) You don’t need a partner, but it’s great to come with people you’d like to dance with. We want to develop this further so we look to YOU to help us co-create new ideas in the future.
