Join the Hunt! "Aponi" will be migrating throughout Door County North, June 15-22nd in Celebration of National Pollinator Week. Aponi is a Native American name. It comes from the word Apaniiwa, meaning 'butterfly'. '
What we need you to do:
1. Help us find Aponi on Saturday June 15th using the first clue available at the Ellison Bay Welcome Center and posted on our facebook and Instagram
2. Once you find Aponi he/she/they will have zip lock baggie with the clue for where he/she/they will be the following day
3. Find Aponi each day from Saturday June 15th thru Friday June 21st and collect each clue
4. Join Aponi as she rests on Saturday June 22nd at the Pollinator Party at Ellison Bay Day in the Ellison Bay Community Park. Deliver all the clues you found (no later 2pm on June 22nd) to exchange for an entry to win Aponi and other prizes including (2) $50 Door County Gift Certificates
All hunters that deliver the clues on Saturday will have one entry per clue entered into the drawing that will take place on Saturday at 4 pm.
Not here over the weekend or can't make it to the pollinator party? Drop your clues at the Ellison Bay Welcome Center, open daily 10 am to 5 pm, and we will see that they are added to the drawing.
