Pollinators are the unsung heroes of nature, working tirelessly to support plants, animals, and even us! This exciting STEM event invites kids to discover how all life depend on pollinators—and how they can help protect these vital creatures.
The activity includes:
🦋 Interactive Presentation: Explore the fascinating connections between pollinators, wildlife, and humans, and learn why they’re essential for food, flowers, and healthy ecosystems.
🌱 Hands-On Activity: Build a pollinator pyramid and discover how bugs, insects, and other creatures support us and other animals year-round.
🎨 Design Your Own Garden: Each participant will draw their vision of a thriving garden using native plants, designed to help pollinators and the creatures that depend on them.
Sessions are tailored for each grade level, ensuring age-appropriate fun and learning:
📚Grades K-4: 11:00am
📚 Grades 5-8): 12:00pm
📚 Grades 9-12: 1:00pm
📍 Location: Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg - Separate Admission Required for Entry into event which provides access to the 3rd Annual Plantapalooza.

This admission includes access to the 3rd annual Plantapalooza. Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation is not selling tickets to the event. Our ticket sales are only for the listed activity. Our Program will be held inside within their classroom.
