Swaner has been selected as a recipient of UDAF's Utah Pollinator Habitat Program! We need a hand planting hundreds of seedlings on the Swaner Preserve. These plants will provide crucial habitat and food for pollinators, including monarch butterflies. Volunteers will will plant small container seedlings in staged areas on the Preserve. Seedlings will be flagged to make ongoing maintenance like watering and hand weeding possible.Project location is on Old Ranch Road here: maps.app.goo.gl/XWY7KYFqEV2YJhh98. Parking is available along the shoulder, please do not block driveways. Restroom is not available onsite. Water refills and snacks will be available.
Project may wrap up early in the event all plants are planted and watered early. If you'd like to arrive late or leave early outside of the 3-6 timeframe or have any questions about the project, contact Rhea. We would still love to have your help even for a shorter time!
