Come count pollinators at the Arbor Gate Teaching Garden! Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Alamance County are hosting a public in-person event on Saturday, August 23 from 9:30am - 12:00pm to help support the Great Southeast Pollinator Census (GSEPC). Come count with us at the Alamance County Cooperative Extension's Arbor Gate Teaching Garden to gather conservation data and help protect pollinators!
If you can't tell the difference between a fly and a sweat bee, come anyway! There will be guides to help you learn how to identify and count our local pollinators. Learn more at https://alamance.ces.ncsu.edu/2024/06/pollinator-event-at-arbor-gate-teaching-garden/.
Registration is not required, and visitors can stop by anytime while the event is happening. For more information, please call the Alamance County Cooperative Extension at (336) 570-6740.
