The Polish-American concert band, founded in 1890, is a volunteer, nonprofit performing group that welcomes musicians of all levels from all over Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. While maintaining a collection of traditional Polish waltzes, folk songs, and, of course, polkas, the PAC Band also enjoys performing music of many genres, including big band, pop, classical, show tunes in addition to traditional concert band literature.The PAC Band enjoys providing music at a wide variety of performance venues throughout the year. The season includes indoor and outdoor festivals as well as a finale holiday concert in the Fall. A few of the band’s favorite venues include the Toledo Zoo and the Polish Summer Picnic.
