About this Event
West Yorkshire Police are holding community events to facilitate discussions about the Police Race Action Plan.
The Police Race Action Plan aims to create a police service which is anti-racist and trusted by Black people. The plan was launched in November 2023.
Attendees at the event will be able to share their views and ask questions to their local policing team, as well as hear updates about the plan from the past year. The event is open to all who would like to attend.
There will be a buffet provided (free of charge) at 6pm, as well as refreshments. This time can be used to network before the group discussions start at 7pm. The event will be opened by Wakefield Police District Commander Richard Close.
If you have any requirements you want to discuss with us to help facilitate your attendance at the event e.g. accessibility or dietary requirements, please do get in touch with us: [email protected].
We are keen to remove any barriers to your support attendance at the event. If you would like to discuss any issues, please contact [email protected]
