Pole Walking Workshops in Hawaii

Japanese foot specialist and judo sports therapist, Eiichi Watanabe, will be in town this September to hold free Pole Walking workshops! Yawara poles, developed by Mr. Watanabe, have grips angled slightly inward, incorporating a judo grip technique for better balance. Practicing walking with these therapeutic poles helps to improve your posture, alignment of your musculoskeletal system, and your balance while walking. In addition, you can expect better blood circulation and visceral function as well.

This year, we will offer 2 workshops: one in Japanese only and a second in Japanese with English interpretation. The latter class also introduces daily exercises for managing your own health. Please dress comfortably and wear covered shoes.
