Announcing a special event bringing together two of the finest Champagne producers for a unique gastronomic experience at Aurora in Adelaide's CBD.
Pol Roger is one of the truly great family-owned Maisons in history, esteemed for their masterful command over precision, power and purity, drawing primarily on pinot noir. The House owns more than 93 hectares which informs around half of their production, taken mostly from Epernay and Chouilly. Theirs are complex and compelling wines known for their exacting precision.
Pierre Gimonnet et Fils lay claim to some of the oldest vines on Champagne's finest chalk soils, located in the northern Côte des Blancs. By virtue of conscientious and generational owners, their blanc de blancs are nothing less than enthralling – full of tension, chalky freshness, purity and precision. Champagnes of this calibre, representing quintessential Côte des Blancs terroir, are rare at this value for money price point.
