Pokémon Prerelease Event@ In The Zone Gaming in Erie, PA

Style: Swiss Round Tournament
Officially Sanctioned: YES!!!
PRERELEASE TOURNAMENT: Play for fun and use the cards from the newest expansion set before they are officially sold in stores! All players will receive a special "Build & Battle" kit. Each kit will include four (4) booster packs of the current Prerelease set, a 40-card ready-to-play deck, including 1 of 4 unique foil promo cards. Basic energy cards will be provided at the event if you need them. Once your deck is ready, a Swiss round tournament will be played to determine the top finishers. The number of Swiss rounds will be capped at four (4) for everyone regardless of the number of participants.
TOURNAMENT PRIZES: All players participating in the Prerelease tournament will be entered into a RAFFLE to win some awesome Pokémon prizes. All raffle prizes will be drawn before the final round of Swiss begins. Additionally, upon completion of the event, all players will receive PRIZES! Two (2) additional packs of the current Prerelease set will be awarded to all participants who complete every round of the Prerelease event, with additional pack prizing based on number of wins.
PRE-REGISTRATION/REGISTRATION: Current Pokémon League members who have attended & participated in League within the past 3 months may pre-register at our store beginning at 5:00PM on Tuesday, September 9th. This pre-registration will only be open to our local Pokémon League community. The general public will be able to register on the day of the event, September 14th. General registration will open at 12:00 PM on Prerelease Day.
