Step into the Gym and test your skills in this fun, community-driven Pokémon event at Northstar Games! This is your chance to play the Gym Leader Challenge format — where each deck focuses on a single Pokémon type and only includes one copy of each card (except Basic Energy). ⚡️Whether you’re trying GLC for the first time or fine-tuning your favorite deck, this night is all about fun, creativity, and great matches — plus free pizza for all participants! 🍕

💡 Proxy Policy:
This is a non-sanctioned Northstar Games event — proxies are allowed.
You may use printed or clearly written proxies on basic energy cards as long as they are:
✅ Legible and easy to identify
✅ Accurate representations of real Pokémon TCG cards
This event is designed for casual play, testing, and community fun — perfect for players exploring the GLC format or missing a few cards.

Gym Leader Challenge Deck Restrictions:
➖ Your deck can only contain one type (color) of Pokémon.
➖ Only one of each card with the same name allowed in a deck, except for Basic Energy.
➖ Cards with a Rule Box are not allowed.
➖ ACE SPEC cards are not allowed.
➖ Legal Cards: Black & White – onwards, and a short ban list
➖ 60 card decks are built & 6 Prize Card games are played with the most current Pokemon TCG rules.
