Get ready for a thrilling twist on the classic Poker Chip Run! In this exciting event, no one will know if they have a winning hand until they return to the Start/Finish Line!How It Works:
Starting Point: Riders will kick off the adventure at the Parks & Rec Office, located at 106 Cut-off Road, equipped with their bicycles and any necessary safety gear.
On Your Mark, Get Set, Go! Riders will pedal through town, stopping at various businesses, known as “chip spots.”
Drawing Chips: At each chip spot, participants will draw three (3) chips from the designated "Chip Captain" and record the colors they receive.
Repeat: Continue to the next chip spot and repeat the process until all chip spots are visited.
Return to the Start/Finish Line: Once you’ve completed the ride, head back to tally your points!
Scoring System: The Event Coordinator will draw colored chips from a bag and assign point values:
First Chip = 20 points
Second Chip = 15 points
Third Chip = 10 points
For example, if the first chip drawn is red, every red chip collected during the ride is worth 20 points. If the second chip is white, all white chips are worth 15 points, and so on.
After tallying your scores, we’ll award prizes for First, Second, and Third Place!
