What is a draft tournament? - The event begins with everyone taking turns making a selection from a finite pool of available cards. Once the decks are drafted, players will be sorted into a best of 1 Swiss Round. If there are 8 or more players, the top 4 with the best records will then play in a bracket stage to determine the overall winner. If less than 8 players, the one with the best overall record after swiss will be the winner.
What are the prizes for winning?
- Prize Packs! These are the packs you receive at League events. Everyone participating will receive 1 guaranteed prize pack, just like with League. But instead of just the 1 prize pack, you can earn more based on your placement in the tournament!
How much does it cost to enter?
- Absolutely nothing! I want to create a unique experience for every Pokemon TCG player. Adding an entry fee would put a limitation on who can/would want to join.
What time does it start?
- The draft starts at 10:00am so come a bit early! You don't need to bring anything aside from your Pokemon Trainer ID (if you have one)
