Pokemon Cups are the last line of local defence before stepping out into the region and taking on larger qualifying events. A step up from Challenges - at Cups you can expect a higher experience level of trainer vying for even higher rewards. This event will have a capacity of 32 players, in the STANDARD format (regulation mark G or later) and will be run using best of 3 SWISS rounds and single elimination depending on the number of players. Participants will be split into age division, where numbers allow.
Timings:
Registration will begin from 10:30am, with the first round to start at 11am - for all age divisions. Rounds will be 50 minutes long, and will be best of 3.
8 players - 3 swiss rounds, no top cut
9-16 players - 4 swiss rounds, top 4 single elimination matches
17-32 players - 5 swiss rounds, top 8 single elimination matches
ID & Decklists:
This event requires all participants to have a Pokemon ID and to have filled out the linked form HERE. This form will be used as part of your registration, so must be filled out ahead of the event. Please ensure you have Pokemon ID to hand when registering on the day of the event.
Decks will follow standard constructions, with cards regulation mark G or newer, and a legal 60 card draw deck. Decklists are required for this event and should either be printed beforehand, emailed (see details below) or filled in on the day. If you are planning to fill it out on the day please arrive with plenty of time to do so. There will be decklists to hand at the counter. You are able to resubmit your decklist up until the start time of the first round.

We will be following all official comprehensive rules.
Food & Drink:
Food and/or refreshments NOT purchased onsite are NOT permitted at our events, with the exception of water bottles. We have an onsite cafe, which provides a range of food and drink available for purchase on the day, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Hot food only may be bought on site, but requires a surcharge to be paid at the bar to do so. Anyone found to be bringing outside food and drink into the event may be asked to leave.
Buying & Selling Cards:
We are a singles retailer for multiple TCGs! Cards are available to sell to us for store credit or cash, and purchase from us both onsite and on our website, www.dicesaloonsingles.co.uk. We ask that large orders for singles are placed online prior to the event as we cannot guarantee those orders will be fulfilled in time on the day of the event. If you wish to sell singles you will be required to submit a buylist for the singles online and await its approval. When dropping off your buylist, depending on the size of the list, this may take some time to be finalized and for payment to be made.
We do not otherwise allow the selling or purchase of singles or product in store.
Personal Belongings & Spectators:
We have limited space for this event. Please do not bring excess personal belongings, we do not have any storage facilities. There will not be space available for spectators at this event.
Refund Policy:
If you need to cancel your ticket then a full refund will be given if we are notified 7 days before the start of the event.
If less than 7 days notice is given, the cost of your ticket will only be refunded if we are able to re-sell your ticket.
Tickets are non transferable. Please do not purchase your tickets from someone else. We have had issues of people selling fake tickets for our popular events.

Prize structure:
The winner of each division will receive an exclusive Pokemon League Playmat & a Journey Together stamped N's Reshiram promo card.
Each player will receive a standard Pokemon Booster pack for participating.
In addition, there will be 2 promo packs entered into the prize pool per player - these will be split depending on the number of players.
