Pokemon League CupEntry Fee: $10
Registration is from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Please come prepared with an Standard-legal deck and a completed decklist, or plan to arrive early to complete a decklist. Players registering late will be assessed a Round 1 loss.
Entry includes an exclusive promo card, pending availability.
Prizes: For each age division Juniors, Seniors and Masters
1st Place: League Cup Championship Playmat
Additional prizes will be awarded based on the number of players in each age group.
Tournament Structure:
Players will be separated into three age divisions:
Junior Division: ages 12 and under
Senior Division: ages 13-15
Master Division: ages 16+
All rounds will be played Swiss style with the deck that you constructed. In the Swiss format, players are expected to keep playing each round, regardless if you win or lose unless you drop from the event. Players have 30 minutes plus 3 turns to complete each round, with each player putting out 6 prize cards. Players receive one point per win, lose or tie. The word “BYE” means a free win for that round. The number of rounds depends on the attendance of the event. Top cut rounds will be used at these events and the number of player in top cut depends on attendance. Top cut rounds will use a best-of-three, 60-minute-limit format.
