Welcome Gamers!We are going to be running the Gym Leader Challenge (GLC) format once every month. Here you will be able to become the master of every type in the Pokemon TCG and compete to collect each types Gym badge. here is the official GLC webiste for more information about the format: https://gymleaderchallenge.com/
What is GLC (in short):
GLC is a singleton format, meaning you can only use one of each card with the same name (excluding basic energy of which you can have as many as you like). This format also only allows you to play cards that don't have a rule box on them, so no EX, GX, V or Radiant Pokemon to name a few. You may also only have Pokemon all of the same type in your deck, even if there are Pokemon in the same evolution line that are of different types. The format also allows cards from Black & White (2011) onwards, so you have a massive pool of cards to build from!
Proxies: For the first 3 months we will allow players to use proxies for up to 20/60 cards in each player's deck. we will decrease this number after the first 3 months. Also, Japanese and other language cards are legal, just make sure you have a database somewhere to show the effect of each card if someone asks about what the cards do (limitless is great for this)
Prizing: The winner of each event will get a bonus prize. There will also be grand prizes for anyone who collects all the badges!
Registration: Rego will be up to 10:30am on event day, with the Tournament beginning shortly after.
