Get started in the world of competitive Pokémon at League Challenge and League Cup tournaments.* These events are smaller, local events at recognized Play! Pokémon Stores.. League Challenges are entry-level competitions suitable for players of all experience levels. League Cup competitions are a step up from League Challenges—players can expect tougher competitors vying for higher rewards.
In Pokémon League Challenge and League Cup tournaments, players can earn season-long rewards, as well as Championship Points that go toward earning an invitation to the World Championships!
Pokémon TCG players need to bring their own 60-card deck, a Deck list must be provided before check in cut off.
Standard Format
Swiss, best of 3.
Number of Rounds Determined by the number of players. 3 (+1 round for every 8 players)
There will not be a top cut, the tournament will conclude if there is one undefeated player.
**in the event that no booster packs are available at the time of the event closing we will offer store credit of the equivalent value. Declining this option is forfeiture of prizing.
**Refunds will not be provided during or after the start date or time of this event**
Each player will receive a minimum of 1 Pokémon Booster pack and a Play Pokémon pack for participation, Scaled Prizing may be considered based on number of players (12 minimum).
