Larchmere Arts is pleased to present the photography of Deanna Thompson in an exhibition called Poets, Photos and Performance featuring spoken word performances, live music, Thompson's photography and selected poets.Tickets for the event ar $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Deanna is a Cleveland-based performance photographer who specializes in photographing poets at open mic nights. Using immersive photography techniques, she captures the unique energy, power, and personality of every artist she photographs.
Deanna currently serves as the Creative Director of Unbarrd Open Mic at Unbar Cafe. Last year, she was honored as Poetry Unplugged's first recipient of the Caribe Legacy Award. Her photos have appeared in Cleveland Magazine and Freshwater Cleveland.
