Poets for Gaza is a virtual reading featuring writers, cultural organizers, practitioners, philosophers and liberation theologians from Abya Yala and beyond.

This edition’s poets include Andrea Alacran, Ayling Zulema Dominguez, Christina Tesoro, Crystal Rivera, FLO GLO, Jesi Taylor, Luis “Koe” Rivera and Saoirse Devlin. We invite you to slow down, come spend time in community, and let their words replenish you.

Tickets are available for a sliding-scale donation of $15-25, which will benefit our comrade friend Khalil Zeyara and The Sameer Project.

Khalil is a young man who is currently living, working, and surviving the extermination campaign of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. He supports two younger sisters and elderly parents while providing meals for children living in refugee camps like Nuseirat, where he is currently located. The Sameer Project's Refaat Alareer Camp provides medical and educational support to children and families in Gaza.
