Join us for a gentle and uplifting October themed creative writing and poetry workshop. With select readings and prompts to celebrate Autumn through nature connections and fun creative conversation and activities. We will be exploring Autumn images, memories and sounds, and ways to express ourselves through haiku, short poems, fragments and poem postcards of wishes. This workshop is for everyone wanting to start writing poems or return to writing. It is a participatory workshop so we will share our ideas and new lines in a supportive and friendly space.
90 mins/ all levels and abilities/ pen and paper provided plus refreshments

Sarah Acton is a writer of oral history, myth, story and poetry, and a community playwright, delivering socially engaged arts projects with an established track record of working with landscapes and seascapes and with multiple partners, artist collaborations and organisations.
