Thursdays (including tomorrow!) the Stanza is open bright and early for an open writing session, 8-9AM!
Also, on the Youtube channel at 4PM EST, I'm having a chat with Substation Poetry Editor, Dr. Violeta Orozco, about 3 tips for editing poems on your own.
In the evening at 5pm, we continue our book club's look at Chris Do's Unbland Yourself.

Friday: I have three slots for author headshots at 12PM! No previous attendees please; registration on the website required

Sunday morning: at 8AM, we have our weekly online poem editing workshop for Substation members. Come get a poem ready for publishing or other goals you may have!
Sunday 10AM: our Craft Write workshop series is hosting its first in-person session with guest facilitator Denise R. Ervin! This workshop is open to all paid Substation members (diversespoetry.com/aboutsubstation)
At 8:30PM, you can also join us online on the channel for Lofi Poet to get some beats and prompts for inspiration

Monday 6PM: the Poet Business Institute workshop is dedicated to editing a poem of yours! Limited to 5 seats, register at diversespoetry.com

The diVERSES Poetry Book Fair is April 18th! I have space at tables for people looking to show work; there are also ongoing panel discussions you can sign up for still (I have space for 3 panels left)! More info on the website

The Substation, our online community forum for peer poem editing, workshops, and professional review from editors Ajanae Dawkins and Dr. Violeta Orozco, is increasing to $40/month starting on March 1st. Register before then with the code TRANSFORM to stay locked in the $20/month price lifetime!

The Micro Mic is coming back on Mondays starting March 2nd. The format is changing: you and a poet friend can reserve a 20-minute combined set, which is followed by a recorded Q & A session with me and a limited open mic. Lastly, the Poet Business Institute is opening the Spring Semester on February 26th. It's a 12-week module on Thursdays, 6-7PM at the Stanza, where I walk you through the basics of creating your own poetry business, whether on the side or for something to develop into a full-time career. Each session is free and come as often as you like--not mandatory to attend all sessions
