SCRIBE AND BARD at Earth in Sky
A cozy, imaginative night of writing, rhythm, creative play, and gentle sharing. Participants will be guided to write something of their own and, if they choose, give it voice in a relaxed, low-pressure atmosphere that feels far less intense than a typical open mic. You can also brin something writen before this night to share.
This is a creative gathering for both complete beginners and seasoned writers.
What Participants Can Expect
• a playful poetry warm-up to loosen the imagination
• creative prompts that spark ideas and open inner worlds
• a guided rhythm and sound journey to deepen inspiration
• a quiet (with musical ambiance) writing time as the Scribe, crafting poems, stories, verses, or song fragments
• optional sharing as the Bard, giving voice to what they created
• spoken word, chanting, singing, or simple reading are all welcome
• a supportive, no-pressure environment with no stage and no spotlight
• tea and coffee available throughout the evening
• participants can bring snacks if they prefer something to nibble on

Guided by Chauntell Dietrich (Enchaunti Waroway), Registered Social Worker, Animist Minister, Steward of Earth in Sky. She holds a warm, mythic, and non-judgement energy where creativity feels safe, playful, and alive.

The Lore of Earth in Sky
On Earth in Sky, the imaginal yet very real floating island, an old story is passed between travelers. It tells of two ancient spirits who shaped the realm before it had form. The Spirit of the Scribe gathered the first stories that drifted through the darkness. The Spirit of the Bard gave those stories breath, rhythm, and the power to be heard.
The Elemental Beings answered their call. Earth brought steadiness. Water brought emotion and memory. Fire brought spark and transformation. Air brought imagination and lift. Spirit brought unity. From the Void came the mystery that holds all untold tales. Together, these forces awakened Earth in Sky as a living realm woven entirely from story and possibility.
But the island does not remain alive on its own. It brightens when people gather within it. Every poem shared, every spoken line, every moment of creative courage feeds its core. The energy of those who arrive reminds the island that it is still alive and still becoming.
Legend says that when Scribes and Bards come together, Earth in Sky remembers itself. It wakes a little more. It breathes again through the stories offered to it.
And on nights like this, the realm glows through the people who step into its tale.
