Join the Poetry Society of New Hampshire on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026, from 4:30-6:00 pm for an afternoon of poetry! Their headliner this month is poet David Banach. An open mic follows his reading.David Banach has taught philosophy for many years at Saint Anselm College. He lives in Goffstown, New Hampshire, where he tends chickens, keeps bees, and watches the sky. He likes to think about Dostoevsky, Levinas, and Simone Weil and is fascinated by the way form emerges in nature and the way the human heart responds to it. You can read some of his most recent poetry in Passionfruit Review, Reverie, Amphibian, SoFloPoJo, and Mulberry Literary. He is editor of Touchstone, the journal of the Poetry Society of New Hampshire. He is the author of How to be Good from Bee Monk Press.
