We are delighted to bring Poetry Room to Margate Arts Club this September, featuring two special acts: a live performance extract from Akila Richards' Mango Ritual show and a guest appearance by poet and visual artist Kareem Parkins-Brown. His work concerns grime, grief and humour. His debut poetry pamphlet Oi You Lot is out now with Little Betty.Plus DJ Fever2Ray (African Night Fever) and our MC Akila M. Richards.

Accessibility
Margate Arts Club has a wheelchair ramp available for the entrance on request.
Toilets can be found down the corridor from the main hall towards the outside terrace, on the right. The toilets are at ground floor level and 60cm wide with handles.
How To Get There
Margate Arts Club can be found under the green shopfront titled Pearl, next to reflections. It is opposite the International Food Store.
By bus: The closest bus stop to Margate Arts Club is Warwick Road. You can catch the Loop or the 8A to this stop. If you are catching the bus to Margate town centre, you must change at Cecil Square.
By train: If you are catching the train, the closest station is Margate, but you must then catch the 8A or the Loop to Warwick Road. You can catch the bus from Marine Terrace, which you can find by turning right at the roundabout then going straight ahead. From Warwick Road, Margate Arts Club is just a short walk down Northdown Road (right if you are coming from Margate, Left from Ramsgate).
By car: The closest car park is Harold Road Car Park. From there, turn right down Harold Road then right down Northdown Road to make it to Margate Arts Club.
