Maureen is an author, a prolific writer, poet, and writing workshop facilitator. Maureen’s poetry comes to her through life’s experiences and through her intrinsic love for nature and humanity.Maureen has published 3 books. Seasons of The Soul: Transitions and Shifts of Life was released in 2014. Her second book, Our Surrender Pause: 30 Poems in 30 Days was written during April, National Poetry Month, writing through the Pandemic, published in July of 2020. Her 3rd book was published on September 5, 2023, Love Yourself Fiercely: Through the Beauty and Ache of Life.
She was nominated for the Pushcart Prize in 2023 for her poem “Live Fearlessly.”
From 2014-2017, Maureen has been published in 5 anthologies.

She will be reciting from her newest works of poetry for her next book: Soul of the World: Loving All Humanity, to be published this year, 2026.
All earnings and revenue from the publishing of her book will go to organizations sponsoring relief efforts for immigrant families.
Her current works written, are about the current times, speaking of justice, mercy, hope and love, bringing equality to all humanity.
This is not about politics, but our moral compass, who we should be as compassionate and kind human beings.
At the end of her poetry reading, we will have a small vigil and remembrance for all those who have died by the hands of ICE.
Tea light candles will be provided.
