Food-lovers, Friends and Neighbors! Local Hospitality Professional and Word-Slinger @jdfratzke has just published his first collection of poetry, River Language, as a quiet testament on how returning to his roots in the wild places of Minnesota has helped him survive thirty years in restaurant kitchens.
On Sunday afternoon, November 10th, JD will be reading pieces from River Language, answering questions about his work and signing copies of the book.
Joining JD Fratzke behind the mic at the event will be award-winning poet and master breadmaker, Danny Klecko, as well as local literary performers Gene Gazelka and Dralandra Larkins– all of whom will be selling and signing their work as well.
Admission is free of charge. First-come, First-served. Seating will begin at 3pm and the event will wrap up at 5pm. We would love for you to join us!
