About this Event
How might we build a more just future with AI? Join theatre producer and digital artist Humira Imtiaz to critically examine embedded biases in AI systems & collaboratively imagine intersectional feminist approaches to this technology. We'll discuss ways AI fails marginalised communities and learn about the limitations of the datasets these tools are built on.Through interactive experiments with AI platforms, we'll uncover how bias manifests in representations of gender, race, and beyond. Guiding the algorithms with our own language, we'll confront distorted AI imaginings and collectively re-envision how diverse, equitable training data could shape ethical innovations. No tech background needed - just bring your unique perspective and a laptop or device.Join us to explore the power of our words in shifting what AI reflects and represents.
