Whether you've just written your first poem, or you are an experienced poet/performer, we'd love to hear your work. If you're simply out for a poetic hit, come along and be part of our supportive audience!The evening is broken into 3 sections.
1. Open Mic - Read one or two of your own compositions, new or old.
2. Competition Entry -Read the poem you have written that suits the competition theme of the month.
3. Open Mic - Read one or two of your own compositions, new or old.
The February competition theme is “Brick”
A prize is awarded to the winner of the competiton section and includes a certificate, a bottle of wine and a book of poetry. Entry by gold coin donation. Come along early and order dinner for the Sports Garden's great menu.
